Polly's Pastels parrot perches are a Therapeutic Perch and is a veterinarian designed variable size perch which will trim your bird's nails and beak naturally while promoting healthier feet and leg muscles. Problems can develop if they're confined to perches of a single thickness and shape. The Polly's Pastels parrot perches are variable size, thickness and shape for the most comfortable fit. These parrot perches can easily be added to any cage or aviary. All the parrot perches come with a very simple wingnut which is very easy to use. You simply unto the nut and take off the large metal washer and then place the perch inside the cage, then from the outside the cage pushback on the metal washer and screw on the metal wingnut. You can add several parrot perches to any cage and most parrots will enjoy using them. When you first add the parrot perched on the cage your parrot may wonder what on earth it is and this is the same when you add any parrot toy to a cage. After a few days they will get used to the perch and then you should not have any more problems with parrot nails growing too long. If you have a parrot which is very nervous then place the parrot perch outside the cage for a few days before you add it inside the cage, this way the perch will not seem strange when added to the cage.

These MANU products are manufactured from the same natural minerals found on the banks of the MANU river in South America. It is here that many species of parrot gather in large numbers to ingest the material according to their needs. It has been observed that this is particularly important at the time when parents are rearing their young and they have been recorded feeding this to their chicks.
